Moruga offers more than striking looks — he combines presence with a solid sporting foundation. He is sired by Mad Max 2G, a young son of Mosito van het Hellehof who was one of the standouts in the Equilannoo Stallion Competition last winter. Mad Max himself descends from Cassie van de Castershoeve (by Moujik de Sohan), a mare that successfully competed up to 1m40.

The damline adds even more strength. His half-brother Cayenne Pepper ter Linden (by H&M Chilli Willi) is a licensed stallion currently performing internationally with Celine De Cabooter. His third dam, Heike ter Linden, jumped up to 1m45 with Belgian rider Bart Clarys, while her nephew Bono ter Linden also competed at 1m45 with American rider Dana Escales.

The family continues to produce international quality: Daddy Cool ter Linden, a son of Dominator 2000, is now competing at 1m40 under Vladimir Tuganov.
