How does ET Auction work? Sale on ET Auction is realized through an online auction. During the auction you have the opportunity to place your bid on the embryo of your choice. After auction closure the buyer must pick up the surrogate mare (carrier of the embryo) at the address of the seller. The buyer borrows the surrogate mare to raise the foal. After weaning the foal, the surrogate mare should return to the seller. In some cases it's possible that the buyer buys the surrogate mare. In this way, the surrogate mare does not have to return to the seller.

Guaranteed gestation in the surrogate mare ET Auction tries to propose you an interesting selection of embryos. These embryos are only offered after a gestation period of 60 days in the surrogate mare. After these 60 days, the risk of abortion of the embryo is reduced to less than 5%. Your purchase can be ensured in a simple way so that even all risks are covered.

REGISTER Before you can participate the auctions you have to register on the website, please note that a scan or photo of your passport is required for this.
When you have completed this registration, you can log in to the website. One logged in you can bid on the embryo of your choice.

LOG IN Each embryo is clarified by the necessary information. It contains all informations about the maternal and paternal line, both on their sport as breeding results and is completed with the some videos and images.

We as ET Auction try to evaluate each embryo in an objective way. Each embryo is evaluated on the basis of stars: 5 beyond categorie, a unique opportunity; 4 stars: mare and/or stallion in the top sport form good pedigree; 3 stars mare and/or stallion with performance and pedigree; 2 stars mare and/or stallion with pedigree without proven performance.

We also mention the expected birth date of the foal, the place where the surrogate mare is and bids where you as bidder could earn a commission or discount.

BID Once the auction is opened you can place your bid, confirm your bid after approving a detailed list whit the auction fees and VAT (if necessary).
When a bid is placed during the last five minutes, the auction will be extended for five minutes. The bidding is completely anonymous.
