Where Legendary Bloodlines Unite

The very name evokes prestige: Lagavulin, a colt that unites two of the most celebrated damlines in modern sport horse breeding.

On the sire’s side stands the incomparable Cordula de Laubry, a mare whose influence has reshaped breeding worldwide. On the dam’s side, the golden thread continues with the Narcotique de Muze / Qerly Chin line, one of the most prolific families ever known in showjumping.

Lagavulin himself embodies the modern stallion type: a strong, ground-covering canter, naturally attentive with ears pricked forward, and a presence that promises greatness. He carries the stamp of his legendary lineage.

A closer look at the Hippomundo pedigree reveals a treasure of performers. His granddam Sitelle de la Pomme already produced several international names, including:

  • Urlando des Forêts – approved stallion with Niels Bruynseels,
  • Diego del Caribe – competing with Irish rider Billy Twomey,
  • Vincento des Forêts – international performer with France’s Mary Covarel.

Sitelle’s dam is none other than Narcotique de Muze II (Darco x Qerly Chin), who competed at 1m60 level with Eric Lamaze. She became one of the most influential broodmares of her generation, producing and founding a dynasty of international performers, including:
Vagabond de la Pomme, Querlybet Hero, Vedet de Muze, Sterrehof’s Ushi, Boyante de Muze, Estoy Aqui de Muze, Go Easy de Muze, Hocus Pocus de Muze, Olivia de Muze, Levis de Muze, Farfelu de la Pomme, Tres Bien Z, and many more.

With such heritage, greatness is no coincidence. Lagavulin stands as a colt destined to uphold and extend the legacy of his illustrious family.

All foals have passed an extended vet check (clinical) and were approved by Dr. Wouter Dierickx and by the auction board. For reports/findings and more information:
