ABOUT
This pedigree combines some of the most proven genetics in the sport! The cross Emerald x Nabab de Rêve has delivered results time and again, which is why this exceptional embryo caught our eye.
The dam, Orphelia, is a daughter of Inshallah de Muze and a half-sister to several international 1m60 performers: Vasco(competed at 1m60 for Brazil), Carpe Diem (with Denmark’s Torben Frandsen), and Cobe van het Gonnehof (under former World No. 1 Harrie Smolders). More recently, close relatives such as Uzo van ’t Hobos and Dolce van ’t Hoboshave continued this family’s success in the sport.
With such a background, it is no surprise that Olympic DNA is deeply rooted here. Bufero van het Panishof, ridden by Dirk Demeersman, first claimed a bronze medal at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, then jumped double clear in Aachen, and later qualified for the London Olympic Games.
And do we even need to introduce the sire, Emerald? The Diamant de Semilly son, partnered with Harrie Smolders, won the World Cup Final and has become one of the most influential sires of modern sport. His offspring include major international names such as World Cup winner Mandato van de Neerheide and European bronze medalist Igor, underlining his lasting impact as a sire of champions.
