Proven performance genes come together in Denio. As a descendant of Sea Coast Don’t Touch Tiji Hero, the Diamant de Semilly son, he is undoubtedly one to watch for the future. The absolute highlight of this sire line is Dourkhan Hero Z, who, under Christian Ahlmann, is rapidly building his international career and already leaving his mark on the sport.
On the dam’s side, this valuable genetic foundation is combined with the influence of Kasanova de la Pomme, the Bamako de Muze son who for years was a cornerstone of the Belgian team with Koen Vereecke. It comes as no surprise that Denio presents himself as a modern and athletic model: long legs, powerful gaits, and the natural presence of a horse ready to develop in the right direction.
His granddam, Carenta van de Molenberg, a daughter of Cardento, is herself developing a sporting career under Mathieu Bourdeaud’hui. Further along the damline we find Ensemble van de Molenberg (1m40 with Tim Reygaert), and as the absolute reference, the Ramiro Z son Royal Discovery, who competed up to 1m60 with Samantha McIntosh, including notable World Cup results.
Other close relatives confirm the strong sporting foundation of this family, including the 1m60 performers Ucchino, Stakkador, and Diamond Z, alongside the 1m45 competitors Quick and Easy II, Don Diablo Z, and Charme Z.
With such a powerful pedigree and his promising type, Denio holds all the qualities to make his mark both in sport and in breeding.
